Data Architect

I’m currently recruiting for a Data Architect based in Dublin, focusing on hybrid working. This is an initial 6-month contract, strong day rate available.

About the Role

• Lead enterprise data architecture across a large-scale global environment, defining standards, patterns, roadmaps and reference architectures.
• Design scalable cloud data solutions across Data Warehouses, Data Lakes, Lakehouses, real-time processing and AI/ML platforms.
• Partner with architecture, security, governance and technology teams to ensure solutions are secure, resilient, performant and compliant.

Requirements

• Previous experience in Data Architecture / Data Engineering
• Proficiency with cloud data platforms, data integration, data management and enterprise-scale data solutions.
• Strong understanding of data governance, security, resilience, APIs, event-driven architectures and streaming.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with experience leading cross-functional technical initiatives.

Desirable

• Previous experience with Azure, ADF, ADLS, Databricks, Kubernetes and event-streaming platforms.
• Knowledge of Generative AI/ML, BI, reporting and analytics, including responsible AI principles.
• Experience with Agile/DevOps and enterprise architecture, ideally within financial services or other highly regulated environments.
